Without a doubt, the first ever Cypress Running Club family picnic has no doubt become the first ANNUAL Cypress Running Club family picnic. We had absolutely perfect weather (which, I think we were due given some of the crummy race weather we’ve been dealt this season!) for families to enjoy hanging out together. We are thankful for all the volunteers who helped out, and for our club members who brought yummy food to help make the picnic such a success. The tattoo station was a hit with the kids, as were the logo frisbee giveaways, but the highlight event was the 1.5 mile kids fun run. Nearly 90 (!) kids participated, and each one was beaming as they crossed the finish line and received a CRC finisher medal.
